Vanilla cookies (christmas)
Tried this recipe in 2022 for the first time and it was a hit!
Ingredients
- 200 g Soft butter Room temperature
- 1 Vanilla bean
- 180 g Sugar
- 1 Egg
- 250 g Flour
- 75 g Fine almond flour
Instructions
- Oven 200 degrees celcius
- Get the seeds out of the vanilla bean and mix together with a bit of the sugar
- Put all sugar and butter together and mix well
- Add egg and mix
- Add both flours and mix
- Put in a piping bag (I used a cookie machine thingy) with a star top (size 12) and pipe in a diameter of 5cm on a baking tray with parchment paper
- Leave some space between the cookies
- Bake in the oven 10-12 minutes
- Mine only needed 7,5-9 minutes
- Please check, when the bottom looks like it gets golden, it is ready
- Let it cool down and save in a nice tight container
- Tip: make one big batch of like 4 times this recipe, so you have loads of them! They will be eaten very very fast
