Grease a 28-cm round nonstick pan with butter
Directly in the pan, add 3 tablespoons sugar, the sliced apples, 2 tablespoons lemon juice, 3 tablespoons sugar, and the raisins.
In a bowl, combine the flour, cinnamon, ginger, vanilla, clove, and baking powder
Continue adding the rest of the ingredients and keep stirring until you have a thick mixture
Pour the mixture on top of the apples and put the pan in the oven at 170 to 175°C for about 30 minutes
When the apple pie cools down, turn it upside down on a plate and sprinkle powdered sugar on top
Mine absolutely flopped, the result was flat, but it tasted good
