Semolina porridge
Ingredients
- 35-40 g Semolina flour
- 25 g Sugar
- 500 ml Whole milk
- 1 tsp Almond aroma
- 100 g Soaked raisins
Semolina Pudding
- 500 ml Milk
- 100 g Semolina flour
- 80 g Sugar
- 2-3 Eggs
- 30 g Butter
- 1/2 Vanilla bean or vanilla sugar or lemon zest
- 50 g Almonds or raisins
- pinch Salt
Instructions
- Boil the milk and then lower the heat
- Add all but the raisins
- Stir for 5-7 minutes, then add raisins
- Done!
Semolina Pudding
- Boil milk with some salt
- Add the semolina
- Stir and let it simmer for about 4-10 minutes
- Add butter and turn off the heat
- Then add the egg yolks and almonds or raisins
- Beat the egg whites fluffy
- Add the beaten eggwhites to the milk
- Grease a pudding mold with some butter and sprinkle some breadcrumbs over it
- Put the mixture in the pudding mould, only untill 3/4 filled
- Close the mould firmly
- Cook the pudding 2 hours au bain marie, make sure to have water filled up untill just under the rim of the pudding mold
- Dry up the pudding without lid and serve with some fruit sauce for instance
- Enjoy!
