Eggo waffles ala Stranger Things
Ingredients
- 150 g Flour
- 3 tbsp Cane sugar
- 1,5 tsp Baking Powder
- Pinch Salt
- Lemon zest of half a lemon
- Pinch Cardamom
- 2,5 dl Buttermilk
- 2 Eggs
- 50 g Melted Butter
Instructions
- Mix the dry ingredients with the lemon zest together in a bowl
- Add the buttermilk and eggs and mix together until you have a soft dough and add the melted butter in the end
- Have a little extra butter ready, to put in your waffle iron
- I use a mini waffle maker
- Add some dough to your waffle iron it’s a little trial and error to find out how much dough you need and how long it needs to cook until done
- Enjoy!
