“Dutch” Bami
“Dutch” Bami
Ingredients
- 16 nests Mie or egg noodles
- 1 clove Garlic
- 1 Onion
- 1 Bell pepper chop in small pieces
- 450 g Bami veggies carrots, 1 pepper, bean sprouts, chinese cabbage, leek. All chopped in small pieces, except for the bean sprouts
- 1 tbsp oil sunflower oil
- 2 tbsp Ketjap
- 1 handful Cashew nuts
- 1 tbsp Sambal
- 1 pinch Paprika powder
- ½ tsp Ginger powder (ground ginger)
- 1 pinch Kurkuma
Instructions
- Kook the mie/egg noodles according to the package
- Chop onion and garlic into small pieces
- Fry in the oil for 2 minutes
- Add sambal, ketjap, paprika powder, kurkuma and ginger powder and mix well
- Add the veggie mix and the bell pepper
- Fry this for a few minutes, keep stirring
- Drain the mie/egg noodles and work the noodles through the veggie mix
- Serve the bami with the veggies on a plate and garnish with some cashews
- Nice with some kroepoek, chicken wings or an egg. Also nice with peanut sauce
