Beans Sajoer
Ingredients
- 400 g Green beans
- 1 Onion
- 1 piece Fresh ginger
- 1 clove Garlic
- 2 tsp Ketjap
- 1 tsp Laos Ground galangal root
- 1 tsp Sambal
- 1 tsp Sugar Can also do without
- ½ cube Bouillon cube
- 200 ml Coconut milk
Instructions
- Boil the beans 10 minutes in a pot with boiling water
- Chop the onion, ginger and garlic very small, best use a food processor or similar
- Fry this mix 2 minutes in a frying pan with 1 tablespoon of sunflower oil
- Add the ketjap, laos, sambal and sugar and stir
- Add coconut milk and crumble the bouillon cube above the mix
- Bring to a boil slowly
- Add the beans and stir well
- Let it simmer for 5 minutes
- Serve as part of a rice table with kroepoek and rice
