Beans Sajoer

Ingredients
  

  • 400 g Green beans
  • 1 Onion
  • 1 piece Fresh ginger
  • 1 clove Garlic
  • 2 tsp Ketjap
  • 1 tsp Laos Ground galangal root
  • 1 tsp Sambal
  • 1 tsp Sugar Can also do without
  • ½ cube Bouillon cube
  • 200 ml Coconut milk

Instructions
 

  • Boil the beans 10 minutes in a pot with boiling water
  • Chop the onion, ginger and garlic very small, best use a food processor or similar
  • Fry this mix 2 minutes in a frying pan with 1 tablespoon of sunflower oil
  • Add the ketjap, laos, sambal and sugar and stir
  • Add coconut milk and crumble the bouillon cube above the mix
  • Bring to a boil slowly
  • Add the beans and stir well
  • Let it simmer for 5 minutes
  • Serve as part of a rice table with kroepoek and rice
