“Dutch” Bami

“Dutch” Bami

Ingredients
  

  • 16 nests Mie or egg noodles
  • 1 clove Garlic
  • 1 Onion
  • 1 Bell pepper chop in small pieces
  • 450 g Bami veggies carrots, 1 pepper, bean sprouts, chinese cabbage, leek. All chopped in small pieces, except for the bean sprouts
  • 1 tbsp oil sunflower oil
  • 2 tbsp Ketjap
  • 1 handful Cashew nuts
  • 1 tbsp Sambal
  • 1 pinch Paprika powder
  • ½ tsp Ginger powder (ground ginger)
  • 1 pinch Kurkuma

Instructions
 

  • Kook the mie/egg noodles according to the package
  • Chop onion and garlic into small pieces
  • Fry in the oil for 2 minutes
  • Add sambal, ketjap, paprika powder, kurkuma and ginger powder and mix well
  • Add the veggie mix and the bell pepper
  • Fry this for a few minutes, keep stirring
  • Drain the mie/egg noodles and work the noodles through the veggie mix
  • Serve the bami with the veggies on a plate and garnish with some cashews
  • Nice with some kroepoek, chicken wings or an egg. Also nice with peanut sauce
