Breakfast cake (ontbijtkoek)
Ingredients
- 250 g Selfraising flour
- 250 g Brown sugar bruine basterdsuiker/brun farin
- ½ tbsp Speculaas spices
- ½ tsp Baking powder
- 250 ml Milk
Instructions
- Oven on 160 degrees Celcius (top and bottom heat)
- Put all dry ingredients in a bowl and mix
- Milk in a pan on the stove until reaching boiling point (you can see little bubbles on the inside of the pan)
- Add the milk to the dry ingredients and stir until you have a smooth batter
- Put the batter in a bread form and then in the oven with it
- Bake for 65-75 minutes
