Onion Soup
Ingredients
- 1 L Beef broth tablets
- 250 g Onions
- 30 g Butter
- 30 g Flour
- 1 Bay leaf
- 2 Cloves
- Grated cheese
- Toasted bread
- Pepper & salt to taste
Instructions
- Clean the onions, cut into onion rings
- Heat up a pan and add the butter
- Fruit the onions in the pan
- When the onions are half coloured, add the flour and let it fry until the onions have the desired colour
- Add the beef broth tablets, bay leaf, cloves and let it simmer for 20 minutes
- Add the toasted bread to the pan on top of the soup
- Pour some soup over the toasted bread
- Sprinkle cheese on top of the soup and put it all in the grill to bake the cheese
- Enjoy!
