Lamb Tajine

Ingredients
  

  • 2 kg Chopped lamb meat
  • 1 tsp Ginger powder
  • 1 tsp Black pepper, grinded
  • 1 tbsp Ras el hanout
  • 1,25 dl Water
  • 2 onions
  • 2 cloves Garlic
  • 2 Cinnamon sticks
  • 300 g Raisins
  • 125 g Almonds
  • 175 g Honey
  • 1,5 tsp Cinnamon powder
  • 100 g Butter
  • Pepper & Salt

Instructions
 

  • Mix ginger powder, pepper, ras el hanout and water together
  • Rub the meat with this mixture
  • Cut the onions and garlic into small pieces
  • Fry the meat
  • Add onions, garlic and the cinnamon stick
  • Add boiling water as much as that the meat is for 2/3 under water
  • Bring to a simmer
  • Add raisins, toasted almonds, honey and powdered cinnamon to the meat
  • Let it simmer until there is almost no liquid anymore
  • Enjoy!
