Lamb Tajine

Ingredients
- 2 kg Chopped lamb meat
- 1 tsp Ginger powder
- 1 tsp Black pepper, grinded
- 1 tbsp Ras el hanout
- 1,25 dl Water
- 2 onions
- 2 cloves Garlic
- 2 Cinnamon sticks
- 300 g Raisins
- 125 g Almonds
- 175 g Honey
- 1,5 tsp Cinnamon powder
- 100 g Butter
- Pepper & Salt
Instructions
- Mix ginger powder, pepper, ras el hanout and water together
- Rub the meat with this mixture
- Cut the onions and garlic into small pieces
- Fry the meat
- Add onions, garlic and the cinnamon stick
- Add boiling water as much as that the meat is for 2/3 under water
- Bring to a simmer
- Add raisins, toasted almonds, honey and powdered cinnamon to the meat
- Let it simmer until there is almost no liquid anymore
- Enjoy!
